Christmas Reindeer Chow

This Christmas Reindeer Chow is a must-make holiday snack that comes together in just 15 minutes! Homemade muddy buddies with mix-ins like mini peanut butter cups, holiday M&Ms, and some mini pretzels for something salty.

Who can resist the combination of peanut butter and chocolate? Now imagine it mixed with crunchy Chex, dusted in powdered sugar, and enhanced with some festive mix-ins. That's what we're talking about! This is essentially your traditional muddy buddies, but kicked up a notch with tasty add-ins for a fun and festive Christmas snack mix. This recipe yields a pretty large batch, perfect for the multiple Christmas parties we have coming up, making it an easy snack to bring along!

What You Will Need:

for the muddy buddies,

• Chocolate chips- I like to use milk chocolate

• Creamy peanut butter-

• Butter-

• Rice Chex-

• Powdered Sugar- for coating

mix-ins,

• Mini Reese's-

• Holiday M&M's-

• Mini pretzel twists-

How to Make it:

You want to start by melting the chocolate chips, butter, and peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at 30-second intervals until melted- it only takes about a minute.

Add the Chex into a large bowl and pour the melted chocolate mixture onto the Chex. Using a spatula, carefully mix until thoroughly coated.

In a gallon bag add some powdered sugar then add half of the covered Chex. Top with some more powdered sugar and shake until coated. Repeat with the remaining Chex.

Place a piece of parchment paper onto a large baking sheet and add the muddy buddies. Let them dry for a few minutes.

Add the mini Reese's, M&Ms, and pretzel twists on top and scoop into airtight containers.
